"But the effect is real."

If the denominator is shrinking for the unvaccinated through non-covid deaths or getting vaccinated. Would we be able to see this effect?

Example:

4/12 UnVaxxed = 40/120 SurvivedVaxxed

4 get vaccinated and die from covid.

4/8 >= 40/120

This would look like a 50% mortality increase in unvaccinated no?

This is an affect yes. And as you could see, if you change the denominator to positive tests, you get a much more flat curve.

In terms of deaths, they don't seem to be updating the population numbers with those deaths that I can see. And the number of deaths in the unvaccinated population is rather tiny compared to the overall population at about 1000 it's between 1-2% of the population.
